What good is a hammer if you don't know how to use it? Technology can be a great thing, and it can enhance student learning to higher levels of thinking. However, what good is a piece of technology to you if you don't know how to use it properly?
The goal of this site is to help anyone who would like to incorporate more educational technology in their instruction. On this site you can find numerous tools, tips, and resources to help transform your classroom into a 21st century teaching and learning environment.
Additionally, if you're lucky enough to work at NBHS you can schedule a time for a one on one consultation to help you answer any questions that you have or help you employ a tool or strategy that you'd like use in your classroom. All you need to do is click "book now" and I will arrive at the appointed time and place of your choosing.
Learning with Chromebooks, iPads, & More
Much of what you will find on this site is centered around learning with Chromebooks but you'll also find plenty for iPads as I've had both in my classroom. However, that is not all that you will find on this site. Also, if you don't find what you're looking for here, I might be able to point you in the right direction on one of the above pages.
In addition to learning with Chromebooks, you'll find much here to help you better integrate educational technology in to your classroom. About Me
For the past fourteen years I've been working as a High School Social Studies teacher at New Brighton Area High School. I earned my BA in History at Geneva College and my Masters in Curriculum and Instructional Technology at Iowa State University. I've also served as a tech coach at New Brighton High School.
